↑ An official source that states the name hasn't been found yet.The legs bear a heavy resemblance to that of Monster Six's legs. While an entire model wasn't created for this character, legs were rendered for them outside of the map.Unlike most citizens of the Pale City, they do not seem to have an obsession with televisions.Discovering this character will earn the player the " Post Industrial" achievement. The resident will come and collect the package by using one hand to open the mail slot and the other to collect the package. Take it to the far left in front of an apartment door. There will be a package with an Eye symbol on it. If Mono puts on the postman hat, after landing into a dumps area through a garbage chute in one of the Pale City's apartment, go to the right and open a briefcase. One is bending down, while the other is broken and laying on it's side. They have a pair of legs that aren't visible in the main game. ![]() The fingers appear to be skinny and long, resembling the Janitor's. When he pursued Mono, that set the chain of events that would eventually lead Mono into becoming the Thin Man, forever trapped in an endless time loop as a battery for the Signal Tower. They have pale humanoid hands and dirty sleeves. When he hanged himself, he felt he had gotten a lot more than he bargained for, only his very creation wouldn't let him die, so he became one with the Signal Tower as the very first Thin Man. The Pink Void the Signal Tower is made out of. Mono would then try to use the powers of time in the Tower to try and stop himself from suffering this fate, but this is exactly what the Tower intended, as he would then be defeated by his more powerful younger self and the betrayal will happen regardless.Ĭonclusion: The Hanging Man IS the Transmission. Six betrays Mono and then Mono becomes the new Thin Man, forever being trapped in a time loop. Ultimately, Mono defeats a version of his future self and rises to heroic. What happened was that after he likely escaped the Hanging Man in the comic, he came across Six and then together they ventured toward the Pale City (Much like we saw in the game). Monos been forced to grow up too quickly in this savage world and now clashes with this community of overgrown infants. This began the chain of events that would lead Mono to become the suitable battery to forever power the Signal Tower in an endless paradox. He transformed into a more ghostly dark entity that began pursuing kids until he came across Mono, like in Chapter 6 of the Little Nightmares II Comic. Instead, he became ONE with the Transmission. Unfortunately, the Transmission was so strong, and so was the Hanging Man's connection to it, that the Transmission refused to let him die. When he discovered that the Transmission had even reached the sea, he gave up running and decided to take his own life, leaving a note apologizing and confessing everything he had done. So he fled the mainland and came across the Maw. He just wanted control and dominance over everyone, not realizing everything would become a literal nightmare. His intentions probably weren't that extreme though. ![]() Televisions were scattered all over the world and then the Transmission began, transforming everyone and everything that was watching the televisions into children-hating monsters. He must've been born with Broadcasting powers, like Thin Man/Mono, and probably wanted to control everyone and everything. ![]() He's also that same dark entity we saw in Chapter 6 in the Little Nightmares Comic app. The Hanging Man must've been the man behind everything. Honestly, I feel all time loops and paradoxes need to have a start - an original. ![]() The Hanging Man is NOT the Thin Man BUT he was the ORIGINAL Thin Man. Still, with how similar each character looks - such as the clothes, the figure and the stance - it's very difficult to not see them as separate entities. After all, if Mono really IS stuck in a time loop/paradox, then he would've never set foot on the Maw. Okay, I know it's been established a lot that the Thin Man and the Hanging Man are separate entities.
